Re-Crafting Mathematics Education: Designing Tangible Manipulatives Rooted in Traditional Female Crafts
Investigation of Embodied Mathematical Understanding
Brief description of study.
The purpose of this study is to further our understanding of the embodied nature of mathematical understanding, and in particular, to prepare to leverage these new understandings in instructional contexts that are often devoid of such embodied opportunities.

Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: Healthy
-
Age: 100 years or below
-
Gender: All
The purpose of this study is to investigate how understanding mathematics can be connected to physical experiences. This study aims to explore how these connections can be used in teaching environments where such physical experiences are not usually included.
Participants in the study will engage in activities designed to explore their mathematical understanding through physical interactions. These activities will help researchers learn how physical movements and experiences can influence learning in mathematics.
- Who can participate: There are no specific age criteria or other eligibility factors for participating in this study.
- Study details: Participants will take part in activities that connect physical experiences with mathematical concepts. These activities will help researchers understand how physical interactions can aid in learning mathematics.
