Brief description of study.

The goal of this research is twofold: (1) In order to understand the nature and prevalence of everyday philanthropic activities, we will be conducting a mobile diary study in which participants log instances of everyday philanthropy via an Android smartphone app. (2) In order to better understand the broader implications of the diary study data, we will be partnering with nonprofit organizations to review the data and undertake participatory design workshops.
