Circulating MicroRNA miR-486 levels in dilated cardiomyopathy?a pilot study.
Investigating Blood Markers in Heart Failure
Brief description of study.
The purpose of this study is to compare the presence of a blood marker called the miRNA in individuals with heart failure and those who do not have heart failure.
Detailed description of study
The purpose of this study is to compare the presence of a blood marker called the miRNA in individuals with heart failure and those who do not have heart failure.
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: heart failure
-
Age: 100 years or below
-
Gender: All
This study investigates the presence of a blood marker called miRNA in people with heart failure compared to those without the condition. miRNA, or microRNA, are small molecules in the blood that can help in understanding different health conditions.
Participants will have their blood tested to measure the levels of miRNA. This involves drawing a small amount of blood, which will be analyzed to compare the miRNA levels between individuals with and without heart failure.
- Who can participate: The study is open to adults aged 18 and older diagnosed with heart failure and those without the condition for comparison.
- Study details: Participants will provide a blood sample for miRNA analysis.
