The purpose of this study is to obtain either tears or any floating cells from the front of the eye to determine if the tears or cells contain chemicals that could become active in inflammation or wound healing.

Detailed description of study

The purpose of this study is to obtain either tears or any floating cells from the front of the eye to determine if the tears or any cells floating in the tears contain chemicals that could become active in inflammation or wound healing.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: Healthy
  • Age: 18 years - 100 years
  • Gender: All

This study investigates the composition of tears and cells from the front of the eye. Researchers aim to find out if these tears or cells contain chemicals that may play a role in inflammation or the process of healing wounds. Inflammation is the body's response to injury or infection, which can cause redness, swelling, and pain.

Participants will be asked to provide samples of their tears or cells from the eye. These samples will be analyzed to identify any chemicals that might be involved in inflammation or wound healing. This will help understand the potential roles these substances play in eye health.

  • Who can participate: Eligibility criteria not specified.
  • Study details: Participants will provide samples of tears or cells from the eye for analysis. These samples will be used to study the presence of chemicals involved in inflammation or healing.
