Brief description of study.

The purpose of this study is to identify multi-level determinants of physical activity and sedentary behavior among adults with schizophrenia for the purpose of developing a pilot intervention to increase physical activity and reduce sedentary behavior in this high risk group.

The purpose of this study is to identify multi-level determinants of physical activity and sedentary behavior among adults with schizophrenia for the purpose of developing a pilot intervention to increase physical activity and reduce sedentary behavior in this high risk group.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: schizophrenia
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates the factors that influence physical activity and sedentary behavior in adults with schizophrenia. Schizophrenia is a mental health condition that affects how a person thinks, feels, and behaves. The purpose of this study is to understand these influences better to develop ways to encourage more physical activity and reduce time spent sitting or lying down.

Participants will be asked to engage in various activities to assess their levels of physical activity and sedentary behavior. This will help researchers identify patterns and factors that may affect these behaviors in adults with schizophrenia.

  • Who can participate: Adults aged 18 and older diagnosed with schizophrenia are eligible to participate in this study.
