Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: Healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

The purpose of this study is to explore if people perceive sexual orientation in voice recordings differently based on their own sexual orientation. This means the study will look at how listeners might hear a voice and think about the speaker's sexual orientation, and whether their own orientation affects this perception.

Participants will listen to various voice recordings and make judgments about the sexual orientation of the speakers. This involves understanding how different voices might be interpreted and if personal biases play a role in these interpretations.

  • Who can participate: Participants must meet basic eligibility criteria, such as being over 18 years of age and fluent in English.
  • Study details: Participants will listen to voice recordings and provide their perceptions of the speakers' sexual orientations. No additional actions are required beyond listening and responding.
