Brief description of study.

The purpose of this study is to measure lung compliance during the casting process for spinal manipulation.

Detailed description of study

The purpose of this study is to measure lung compliance during the casting process for spinal manipulation.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: scoliosis
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates lung compliance, which is how well the lungs can expand and contract, during the process of spinal manipulation casting. Spinal manipulation is a technique used to adjust the spine, and understanding lung compliance is important for ensuring patient safety and comfort during this procedure.

Participants in this study will undergo procedures to measure how their lungs expand and contract while they are being cast for spinal manipulation. This will help determine the effects of the casting process on lung function.

  • Who can participate: Participants aged 18-65 with no history of severe respiratory conditions are eligible to participate.
  • Study details: Participants will have their lung function measured while undergoing spinal manipulation casting. This involves monitoring how the lungs expand and contract during the process.
