Brief description of study.

The purpose of this study is to assess the effects of C16G2 Gel given several times to adolescents and adults. The study will also see if C16G2 gel reduces the amount of S. mutans and other bacteria in saliva and dental plaque.

Detailed description of study

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety of multiple C16G2 Gel administrations in adolescent and adult dental subjects.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: healthy
  • Age: 12 years - 75 years
  • Gender: All

This study investigates the effects of an investigational gel on adolescents and adults. The purpose is to see if the gel can reduce the amount of certain bacteria, such as S. mutans, in saliva and dental plaque. S. mutans is a type of bacteria that can cause tooth decay.

Participants in the study will receive the investigational gel multiple times. The study will monitor the safety of using the gel in dental subjects, which means people who are having their teeth and gums checked.

  • Who can participate: Adolescents aged 12-17 and adults aged 18-65 who are in good general health and have a history of dental plaque accumulation are eligible to participate.
  • Study details: Participants will use the investigational gel multiple times. The study will check for any safety issues during its use.
