The purpose of this study is to compare the incisal bite force for each of the test adhesives versus no adhesive over 12 hours in persons who wear upper dentures.

Detailed description of study

The purpose of this study is to compare the incisal bite force for each of the test adhesives versus no adhesive over 12 hours in persons who wear upper dentures.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: Dentures
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

The purpose of this study is to investigate how different adhesives affect the biting force of people who wear upper dentures. This study is focusing on the strength of the bite when using various adhesives compared to not using any adhesive over a period of 12 hours.

Participants in this study will be asked to use different adhesives with their upper dentures. Their biting force will be measured to see how the adhesives affect their ability to bite. The study aims to understand the effectiveness of these adhesives in improving bite strength.

  • Who can participate: Participants should be adults who wear upper dentures. Specific age criteria and other eligibility factors will be provided by the study coordinators.
  • Study details: Participants will use different adhesives with their upper dentures. Their bite force will be measured to assess the effectiveness of the adhesives.
