Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: healthy
-
Age: 100 years or below
-
Gender: All
The purpose of this study is to investigate the degree of presence. Presence in this context refers to the sense of being in a particular environment, even if it is virtual. The study will use response times to visual probes that appear in different locations on a computer screen to measure presence.
Participants will be asked to perform secondary tasks while responding to these visual probes on a computer screen. The response time to these probes will help determine the level of presence experienced by the participant.
- Who can participate: Participants must be adults aged 18-65, with normal or corrected-to-normal vision, and no history of neurological disorders.
- Study details: Participants will perform tasks while responding to visual probes to measure response times.
