Study on Biomarkers in Nerve Tissue Tumors
Brief description of study.
This research trial studies biomarkers in tumor tissue samples from patients with newly diagnosed neuroblastoma or ganglioneuroblastoma.
Detailed description of study
This research trial studies biomarkers in tumor tissue samples from patients with newly diagnosed neuroblastoma or ganglioneuroblastoma.
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: Neuroblastoma,Cancer,Oncology
-
Age: 30 years or below
-
Gender: All
Inclusion Criteria
Newly diagnosed with suspected neuroblastoma, suspected ganglionneuroblastoma
Exclusion Criteria
Patients with relapsed neuroblastoma who ere not enrolled on ANBL00B1 at original diagnosis
This study investigates the presence of biomarkers in tumor tissue samples from patients who have been newly diagnosed with neuroblastoma or ganglioneuroblastoma. Neuroblastoma is a type of cancer that forms in certain types of nerve tissue, while ganglioneuroblastoma is a similar condition that includes more mature cells. Biomarkers are substances that can indicate the presence or progression of a disease.
Participants in the study will have their tumor tissue samples analyzed to identify specific biomarkers. This process helps researchers understand the characteristics of these tumors and may guide future treatment options. There is no compensation for participating in this study.
- Who can participate: Individuals who are newly diagnosed with suspected neuroblastoma or ganglioneuroblastoma are eligible to participate. Those with relapsed neuroblastoma who were not enrolled in the ANBL00B1 study at their original diagnosis cannot participate.
- Study details: Participants will provide tumor tissue samples for biomarker analysis. This involves examining the samples to identify markers that could be important for understanding the disease.
