You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: healthy,hearing loss

Age: 100 years or below

The purpose of this study is to create a database for recruiting participants in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. This study investigates hearing loss, a condition that affects the ability to hear sounds, and includes both individuals with hearing loss and healthy volunteers. The database will help in finding participants for various research projects conducted by the DeVault Otologic Research Laboratory.
Participants in the study may receive free testing and will be compensated for their time. The study aims to gather data on speech, language, and cognitive development in children with hearing loss. The DeVault Research Lab, part of the Indiana University School of Medicine, has been conducting such studies for over 25 years.
- Who can participate: Individuals of all ages with or without hearing loss can join the recruitment database. This includes those who do not meet the criteria or are outside the age range of current studies.
- Study details: Participants will be added to a recruitment database and contacted for potential studies. Joining the database does not obligate participation in any specific study.
