Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates how personal distress, the ability to manage emotions (emotion regulation), and awareness of one's own thought processes (metacognition) affect how people interact empathetically. Empathic interaction refers to the ability to understand and share the feelings of others.

Participants in this study will be involved in various tasks that measure their levels of personal distress, emotion regulation skills, and metacognitive abilities. These tasks are designed to assess how these factors influence the way individuals empathize with others.
