This study investigates the immune response in patients with metastatic melanoma and renal cell cancer who have experienced spontaneous regression. Metastatic melanoma and renal cell cancer are types of cancer that have spread to other parts of the body. Spontaneous regression is when cancer shrinks or disappears without treatment. The purpose of this study is to understand how the body's immune system may influence this process.

Participants will undergo a procedure called phlebotomy, which is the process of drawing blood. This blood will be collected for research purposes to study immune responses and other factors that might be involved in the spontaneous regression of these cancers.

  • Who can participate: Adults with metastatic melanoma or renal cell cancer who have experienced spontaneous regression can participate. Those with serious medical or psychiatric conditions that affect safety or consent are not eligible.
  • Study details: Participants will undergo blood draws, known as phlebotomy, for research purposes. No medicine will be given as part of this study, and participants will not receive payment for their participation.
