The purpose of this study is to investigate the acoustic characteristics of various speech sounds, and to explore people?s perception of these different speech sounds.
Detailed description of study
The purpose of this study is to gather data on how heritage speakers of CBS produce and perceive different consonant sounds and to determine if there is a relationship between production and perception.

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

This study investigates the acoustic characteristics of various speech sounds. It aims to understand how people perceive these different sounds, focusing particularly on heritage speakers of CBS, a specific language or dialect.
Participants will be involved in producing and perceiving different consonant sounds. The study will collect data to determine if there is a relationship between how these sounds are produced and perceived.
- Who can participate: Participants aged 18 to 65 who are heritage speakers of CBS are eligible for the study. Key eligibility factors include proficiency in CBS and no hearing impairments.
