Study on Differences in Samples from Healthy and Sick Volunteers

The purpose of this study is to collect a variety of specimens from both healthy and sick volunteers and look for differences between the specimens.

The purpose of this study is to collect a variety of specimens from both healthy and sick volunteers and look for differences between the specimens.
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: Healthy

Age: 18 years - 100 years

Gender: All
Inclusion Criteria
Have a history of any malignancy or related disorder. This includes patients with active disease as well as those in remission.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Must provide medical information relevant to the IUSCC Tissue Bank.
Must voluntarily sign the most current informed consent and HIPAA documents prior to study participation.
Be able to donate a biofluid sample (if applicable) without compromising the current health status of the subject.
Exclusion Criteria
Patients with dementia, altered mental status, or any psychiatric condition that would prohibit the understanding or rendering of informed consent.
Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Patients with a history of blood borne diseases including HIV, HBV, HCV, HTLV, or syphilis.
This study investigates the differences in specimens collected from both healthy and sick volunteers. A specimen is a sample of tissue or fluid taken from the body for examination. Researchers aim to find differences that may exist between these samples.
Participants will provide various specimens, such as blood or other biofluids, for the study. These specimens will be collected and analyzed to identify any differences between those from healthy individuals and those with a history of diseases.
- Who can participate: Adults aged 18 and older who have a history of any malignancy or related disorder, including those in remission, can participate. Participants must be able to donate a biofluid sample without compromising their health and must sign informed consent documents.
- Study details: Participants will provide specimens for research purposes. They must also provide relevant medical information to the IUSCC Tissue Bank. No payment will be given for participation.
