The purpose of this study is to examine what motivates middle-aged to older patients with chronic diseases to use a smartphone medication reminder application for medication management.

The purpose of this study is to examine what motivates middle-aged to older patients with chronic diseases to use a smartphone medication reminder application for medication management.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates the motivations of middle-aged to older adults with chronic diseases to use a smartphone application for managing their medications. Chronic diseases are long-lasting conditions that can be controlled but not cured, such as diabetes or heart disease.

Participants in the study will use a smartphone application designed to remind them to take their medications. The study will explore how effective the application is in helping participants manage their medication schedules.

  • Who can participate: Adults aged 45 and older with chronic diseases are eligible to participate.
  • Study details: Participants will use a smartphone application that reminds them to take their medications as prescribed.
