Predicting Renal Graft Failure After Laparoscopic Donor Nephrectomy: An Analysis of 336 Donor: Recipient Pairs at a Single Institution
Investigation of Predictive Factors for Kidney Transplant Outcome
Brief description of study.
The purpose of this study is to determine if there are in fact ways to predict renal graft viability based on donor and recipient characteristics and peri-operative parameters.
Detailed description of study

Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: nephrectomy
-
Age: 100 years or below
-
Gender: All
The purpose of this study is to investigate ways to predict the success of kidney transplants. It looks at factors related to both the donor and the recipient, as well as conditions during the surgery that might affect the transplant's success. A kidney transplant is when a person with kidney failure receives a healthy kidney from a donor.
Participants will be monitored and evaluated based on specific characteristics and surgical conditions. The study aims to gather data to understand which factors are most important for a successful kidney transplant.
- Who can participate: Individuals eligible for this study include adults diagnosed with kidney failure who are candidates for a kidney transplant.
- Study details: Participants will be evaluated based on their donor and recipient characteristics, as well as peri-operative parameters. This involves collecting data to understand the factors influencing transplant outcomes.
