This study investigates how systemic diseases, such as diabetes, coronary artery disease, Sicca syndrome, Sjogren syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematous, and systemic sclerosis, affect oral health and dental treatment outcomes. Systemic diseases are conditions that impact the entire body, and this study aims to understand their influence on oral health.
Participants will have their medical and dental records analyzed to assess the effectiveness of dental treatments. This means researchers will review past health records to see how well dental procedures worked for people with these systemic conditions.
- Who can participate: Participants must have a systemic disease that affects oral health, such as diabetes or Sjogren syndrome. They should have available medical and dental records for analysis.
- Study details: Participants will not need to take any medication or attend study visits. Researchers will only use existing medical and dental records to analyze treatment outcomes.
