The purpose of this study is to explore differences in motivation, self-efficacy, and responsibility between groups of students who participate in a formal learning setting and an informal learning setting.

The purpose of this study is to explore differences in motivation, self-efficacy, and responsibility between groups of students who participate in a formal learning setting and an informal learning setting.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

The purpose of this study is to explore differences in motivation, self-efficacy, and responsibility between groups of students who participate in a formal learning setting and an informal learning setting. Motivation refers to the reasons or goals that drive a person to act. Self-efficacy is the belief in one's ability to succeed in specific situations. Responsibility involves being accountable for one's actions.

Participants will be divided into two study arms. One group will engage in a formal learning environment, which typically involves structured and guided instruction. The other group will participate in an informal learning setting, where learning is more self-directed and less structured.

  • Who can participate: The study is open to students of any age who are willing to participate in either a formal or informal learning setting.
  • Study details: Participants will be assigned to either a formal or informal learning group. They will engage in activities typical to their assigned learning environment.
