Detailed description of study
The purpose of this study is to use the Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) on our patient and community population in order to prevent type 2 diabetes.
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: type 2 diabetes

Age: 14 years - 100 years

Gender: All
The purpose of this study is to implement the Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) to prevent the development of type 2 diabetes. Type 2 diabetes is a condition where the body does not use insulin properly, leading to high blood sugar levels. This study investigates how using the DPP can help in our patient and community population.
Participants will take part in activities and procedures outlined by the Diabetes Prevention Program. The program includes lifestyle changes such as diet and exercise to manage weight and reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
- Who can participate: Adults aged 18 and older who are at risk for developing type 2 diabetes, including those with prediabetes or a family history of diabetes.
- Study details: Participants will engage in activities and procedures specified by the Diabetes Prevention Program, focusing on lifestyle changes such as diet and exercise to manage weight and reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
