The purpose of this study is to determine the effects of virtual reality gaming on energy expenditure and perceived exercise enjoyment in college students.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

The purpose of this study is to determine the effects of virtual reality gaming on energy expenditure and perceived exercise enjoyment in college students. Energy expenditure refers to the amount of energy a person uses while being active, and perceived exercise enjoyment means how much a person feels they enjoy the exercise.

Participants will engage in virtual reality gaming sessions, and researchers will measure their energy use and collect feedback on their enjoyment of the exercise. Virtual reality gaming involves using a headset and controllers to interact with a digital environment.

  • Who can participate: This study is looking for college students aged 18-25 who are interested in participating and have no prior medical conditions affecting physical activity.
