The purpose of this study is to explain how Latina adolescents experience, manage, and get treatment for depressive symptoms.
Detailed description of study
The purpose of this study is to interview thirty-two Latina young women (ages 13-21) about their experience with the unfolding of their depressive symptoms over their adolescent years.

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

The purpose of this study is to understand how Latina adolescents experience, manage, and receive treatment for depressive symptoms. This study investigates the personal experiences of Latina young women as they go through their adolescent years and how these experiences affect their mental health.
Participants in the study will be interviewed about their experiences with depressive symptoms. These interviews will explore how their symptoms have developed and changed over time, and how they have managed these challenges.
- Who can participate: Latina young women aged 13 to 21 years are eligible to participate in this study.
