Detailed description of study

The purpose of this study is to collect and store specimens for future research related to T-Cell lymphoma and leukemia diagnosis and treatment.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: T-Cell lymphoma
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

Inclusion Criteria

Patients with confirmed, suspected, or relapsed diagnosis of T-cell leukemia or lymphoma who require as part of standard medical care the performance of phlebotomy, lymph node or skin biopsy, bone marrow aspirate, apheresis, or splenectomy.  Patients who have had these procedures in the past with a confirmed diagnosis may donate archived samples.

Exclusion Criteria

Concurrent disease or condition that would make the patient inappropriate for study participation, or any serious medical or psychiatric disorder that would interfere with the subject’s safety or rendering of informed consent.

This study investigates the collection and storage of specimens for research related to T-Cell lymphoma and leukemia. T-Cell lymphoma and leukemia are types of cancer that affect the lymphatic system and blood, respectively. The study aims to gather samples from patients to aid future research in diagnosing and treating these conditions.

Participants will undergo procedures such as blood draws, lymph node or skin biopsy, bone marrow aspirate, apheresis, or splenectomy, which are part of their standard medical care. Archived samples from past procedures may also be used. These procedures involve collecting tissues or fluids to help researchers understand the diseases better.

  • Who can participate: Patients diagnosed with or suspected of having T-cell leukemia or lymphoma are eligible if they are undergoing standard medical procedures like phlebotomy or biopsy. Archived samples from past procedures may also qualify them for participation.
  • Study details: Participants will provide samples through medical procedures like blood draws or biopsies, which are part of their regular care. Archived samples from previous procedures may also be donated for research.
