The purpose of this study is to quantify the association between microfinance exposure and key infectious disease outcomes in Haiti; and to assess the feasibility and acceptability of current and future data collection procedures around the measurement of infectious disease outcomes in Haiti.

The purpose of this study is to quantify the association between microfinance exposure and key infectious disease outcomes in Haiti; and to assess the feasibility and acceptability of current and future data collection procedures around the measurement of infectious disease outcomes in Haiti.

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between access to microfinance services and the outcomes of infectious diseases in Haiti. Infectious diseases are illnesses caused by germs, such as bacteria or viruses, that can spread from person to person. The study will also look at how well current and future methods of collecting data on infectious disease outcomes work in this context.
Participants in the study will be observed to understand how microfinance exposure might affect their health, specifically regarding infectious diseases. The study will gather data on health outcomes and evaluate the processes used to collect this information to ensure they are effective and acceptable.
- Who can participate: Participants must be adults aged 18 and older who are currently receiving microfinance services in Haiti. Additional eligibility criteria include a history of infectious diseases or exposure risk.
- Study details: Participants will provide information about their health outcomes related to infectious diseases. The study will assess the effectiveness of data collection methods used during the research.
