Plasma Tumor DNA and Pathologic Complete Response in Early-Stage High-Risk Breast Cancer
Investigating Blood Samples for Predicting Treatment Response in Breast Cancer
Brief description of study.
This study is being done to see if it is possible to use blood samples to predict response to treatment in breast cancer patients receiving preoperative (or neoadjuvant) therapy.
Detailed description of study
The purpose of this study is to see if it is possible to use blood samples to predict response to treatment in breast cancer patients receiving preoperative (or neoadjuvant) therapy.
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: breast cancer
-
Age: 18 years - 100 years
-
Gender: All
This study investigates whether blood samples can be used to predict how breast cancer patients will respond to preoperative therapy. Preoperative therapy, also known as neoadjuvant therapy, is treatment given before the main treatment to shrink a tumor.
Participants in this study will have their blood samples collected and analyzed. The study aims to find patterns or markers in the blood that might indicate how well the cancer treatment is working.
- Who can participate: Eligibility criteria are currently being determined.
- Study details: Participants will have blood samples taken for analysis. These samples will be used to study potential indicators of treatment response in breast cancer.
