An investigation into the genetic basis of human externally visible characteristics
Investigation into Predicting Physical Appearance from DNA
Brief description of study.
The purpose of this study is to contribute to research in the prediction of the physical appearance of an individual from genetic material, i.e. DNA.
Detailed description of study
The purpose of this study is to gather genotype and phenotype information on a US human population.
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: Healthy
-
Age: 18 years - 100 years
-
Gender: All
The purpose of this study is to gather information on how a person's physical appearance can be predicted from their DNA. DNA, or deoxyribonucleic acid, contains genetic instructions that determine a person's traits. This study aims to collect genetic information (genotype) and physical traits (phenotype) from participants in a U.S. population.
Participants in the study will provide samples for genetic analysis. The study will not offer any payment for participation.
- Who can participate: Eligible participants include individuals aged 18 and older who are willing to provide genetic samples and consent to the analysis of their physical traits.
- Study details: Participants will provide genetic samples for analysis. There is no payment for participation.
