The purpose of this study is to evaluate the outcome and complications for infants following removal of unilateral cataract between the age of 7 moths and 24 months under the care of the surgeons who participated in the Infant Aphakia Treatment Study.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the outcome and complications for infants following removal of unilateral cataract between the age of 7 moths and 24 months under the care of the surgeons who participated in the Infant Aphakia Treatment Study.
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: cataract

Age: 100 years or below

Gender: All
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the results and any complications that occur after infants have surgery to remove a cataract from one eye. A cataract is a cloudy area in the lens of the eye that can affect vision. This study focuses on children aged 7 months to 24 months who have undergone this procedure.
Participants in the study will have their progress monitored by surgeons who were part of the Infant Aphakia Treatment Study. The study will look at different outcomes and any issues that arise after the surgery to better understand the effects of cataract removal in young children.
- Who can participate: Infants aged between 7 months and 24 months who have had a unilateral cataract removed can participate.
