Test of the Validity and Reliability of the SC Sprint test
Investigation of the SC Sprint Test's Reliability and Validity
Brief description of study.
The purpose of this study is to determine the reliability or repeat-ability of the the Steve Christopher (SC) Sprint test and to determine the concurrent validity or soundness of the SC Sprint test.
Detailed description of study
The purpose of this study is to determine the reliability or repeat-ability of the the Steve Christopher (SC) Sprint test and to determine the concurrent validity or soundness of the SC Sprint test.
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: healthy
-
Age: 100 years or below
-
Gender: All
The purpose of this study is to determine the reliability or repeatability of the Steve Christopher (SC) Sprint test. Reliability refers to the consistency of the test results over time. The study also aims to assess the concurrent validity, which is how well the SC Sprint test measures what it is intended to measure compared to other established tests.
Participants in the study will undergo the SC Sprint test, which involves sprinting to assess speed and performance. The test results will be compared to other standard tests to evaluate the soundness and consistency of the SC Sprint test.
- Who can participate: Participants must be adults aged 18-35, physically active, and without any medical conditions that may affect sprinting performance.
- Study details: Participants will be required to perform the SC Sprint test. The results will be compared to other standard tests to evaluate the SC Sprint test's effectiveness.
