The purpose of this study is understand the frequency and kinds of EMS services that persons received prior to fatal drug overdose.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

The purpose of this study is to understand the frequency and kinds of emergency medical services (EMS) that people received before experiencing a fatal drug overdose. This study investigates how often and what types of EMS interventions are provided in these critical situations.

Participants in the study will have their EMS service records reviewed to gather data on the types of services provided. This will help identify patterns or common practices in EMS responses prior to fatal overdoses.
