This study will examine how factors such as college selectivity, fields of study, academic achievement, and extracurricular participation affect the public's perceptions of students' employability. Additional factors examined include race, gender, and prior work experience.

This study will examine how factors such as college selectivity, fields of study, academic achievement, and extracurricular participation affect the public's perceptions of students' employability. Additional factors examined include race, gender, and prior work experience.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates how different factors like the type of college, chosen fields of study, grades, and participation in activities outside of class affect how people view a student's chances of getting a job. It also looks at how race, gender, and work experience play a role in these perceptions.

Participants in the study will be asked to provide information about their educational background, achievements, and involvement in extracurricular activities. The study will also collect data on participants' race, gender, and any previous work experience to understand how these factors influence employability perceptions.

  • Who can participate: The study is open to individuals who have completed some form of post-secondary education, regardless of their age. Participants should be willing to provide details about their educational and extracurricular backgrounds.
  • Study details: Participants will be asked to fill out surveys providing information on their education and extracurricular activities. They will also report on their race, gender, and past work experience.
