Brief description of study.

This is a naturalistic study about English language learners within my classroom. I will be exploring the growth in students literacy practices, over the course of the semester, and analyzing how classroom activities contribute to their literacy development. My research will focus on pre-migration, migration, and post-migration experiences.

This is a naturalistic study about English language learners within my classroom. I will be exploring the growth in students literacy practices, over the course of the semester, and analyzing how classroom activities contribute to their literacy development. My research will focus on pre-migration, migration, and post-migration experiences.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates the literacy development of English language learners in a classroom setting. Literacy development refers to the improvement of reading and writing skills. The focus is on understanding how students grow in their literacy practices throughout a semester and the role of classroom activities in this growth.

The study will examine students' experiences before, during, and after migration to understand how these experiences affect their literacy development. Participants will engage in various classroom activities designed to support their reading and writing skills.

  • Who can participate: Students in the classroom who are English language learners are eligible to participate.
  • Study details: Participants will take part in classroom activities aimed at improving literacy. The study will observe and analyze their progress in reading and writing.
