The purpose of this study is to investigate how the faculty member?s utilization of the enterprise early alert and performance feedback system (FLAGS: https://flags.iu.edu) may have an effect on those students? successful course completion and retention to the following regular academic term.

This study investigates how using an early alert and performance feedback system by faculty members may affect students' success in completing their courses and continuing to the next academic term. The study aims to understand the relationship between faculty engagement with this system and student outcomes.
Participants will be observed on how their use of the FLAGS system, which provides early alerts and feedback, impacts their students' academic progress. The FLAGS system is designed to help faculty identify students who may need additional support, but this study will focus on its effectiveness in improving student retention and completion rates.
- Who can participate: The study is open to faculty members who use the FLAGS system. Participants should be actively engaged in teaching courses where this system is implemented. Additional eligibility criteria include being involved in undergraduate teaching and having at least one year of experience with the FLAGS system.
