Brief description of study.

This study is designed to evaluate and generate performance data for the Momentum Bioscience MAGNITOR system, to confirm the negative status of blood cultures with 24 hours of collection. The objective is to generate data to support performance of the MAGNITOR System when testing blood culture samples that are negative according to the blood culture incubator after 16 or more hours of incubation.

Detailed description of study

This study is designed to evaluate and generate performance data for the Momentum Bioscience MAGNITOR system, to confirm the negative status of blood cultures with 24 hours of collection. The objective is to generate data to support performance of the MAGNITOR System when testing blood culture samples that are negative according to the blood culture incubator after 16 or more hours of incubation.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: healthy
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All

This study investigates a system designed to confirm whether blood cultures are negative within 24 hours of collection. Blood cultures are tests that check for infections in the blood. The system aims to verify negative results after at least 16 hours of incubation in a blood culture machine.

Participants will have their blood samples tested using this system to ensure that the results are consistent with the negative findings from the standard blood culture process. This study does not involve any treatment or medication, only the testing of blood samples.
